Google rolls out new Search app for Android

SweetLabs’ Pokki partners with Acer, Zynga

In an announcement made this week, SweetLabs' Pokki revealed that it has signed an official partnership with Taiwanese device-maker Acer. The partnership will result in the pre-installation of Pokki on Acer's forthcoming Windows 8 PCs.

Google: Most Internet users encounter malware through hacked ‘legitimate’ sites

According to Google security researchers, Internet users are more likely to encounter malware through legitimate online services which have been hacked rather than through sleazy, illegitimate websites.

The disclosure by the Google security researchers came on Tuesday, when the Internet search giant updated its Transparency Report with breakdown on the most common malware sources. Late diagnosis for women with bladder and kidney cancer

A new study states that GPs are being visited by women who have kidney and bladder infections several times, before they are sent for specialized check-up.

According to researchers, about 700 cancer sufferers, who are women, are exposed to a risk of delayed diagnosis that contributes to a reduced five-year survival rate.

Researchers have further added that the reason for this can be initial symptoms being considered as ailments that are not serious like minor infections.
